An established industry player is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team in providing exceptional residential care. This role involves safeguarding young people, managing staff shifts, and ensuring that care plans are effectively implemented. You'll work closely with a supportive team to promote training and development while creating positive relationships with the young people. If you're passionate about making a difference and have leadership experience, this is an excellent opportunity to grow in a fulfilling environment.
Working with all levels of the Staff Team to safeguard our young people at all times. Assisting the Registered Manager to utilise staff to ensure that shifts run smoothly and with appropriate numbers.
Oversee medication administration in line with Individual Pupil Care Plan (IPCP). Maintaining clear and accurate records, including leading on care planning and producing reports as required.
Chairing regular staff meetings and handover meetings, ensuring all relevant information is disseminated appropriately and in a timely manner.
Working with the Training Department to promote the importance of training and support individuals to complete relevant qualifications through regular supervisions.
Creating positive relationships with the young people, offering them unconditional dignity and respect.
Meeting the physical, emotional, behavioural, and cultural needs of the young people. Ensuring that the needs of the young person are being met and reviewing and recording changes to those needs.
