Job summary

Wigston service in the Leicester area is recruiting a Support Worker to empower adults with learning disabilities, autism, ABI and mental health needs to live life their way.

You’ll deliver person-centred care, support daily living activities, provide personal care, and follow care plans to ensure safety and consistency. The role is full-time with a rota across Monday to Sunday.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering care in line with individual care plans.
• Ability to support adults with learning disabilities, autism, ABI and mental health needs.
• Willingness to work on a rota basis.

Responsibilities

• Support independence and personal goals.
• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
• Assist with daily life activities (cooking, shopping, outings).
• Provide personal care and health/wellbeing support.

Job description

Hours: Full-time – 40 hours per week (Monday to Sunday, rota basis)

Pay: £12.71 – £13.21 per hour (depending on qualifications)

About the Service

Wigston is a 8-bed residential service supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, ADHD and mental health. The service provides a safe, structured and person-centred environment where individuals are supported to build independence, develop daily living skills, and achieve their personal goals.

People we support enjoy a range of activities within the service and in the community, including walks, parties, sensory room and BBQs helping them to stay engaged, active and connected.

Pay Structure

• Entry Level – £12.71 per hour
• NVQ Level 2 completed – £12.96 per hour
• NVQ Level 3 completed – £13.21 per hour
