Job summary

Stonepillow is recruiting for Night Support Workers to join our young people services. You will support 16+ looked after young people and care leavers in West Sussex, using trauma-informed approaches with kindness.

You will manage your caseload, complete risk assessments, ensure voice of the young people is heard, and maintain safeguarding actions. A never-give-up attitude and ability to work in challenging situations are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated empathy and resilience in challenging settings.
• Strong communication and active listening to build trust with young people.
• Ability to work trauma-informed and with kindness to support positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in a person-centred way to young people aged 16+ in care.
• Model a kind, positive, proactive approach to engage young people and ensure safety within the team.
• Manage your own caseload, produce individual support and risk assessments, and document decision-making.
