Caritas Diocese of Salford is recruiting a Night Support Worker to provide overnight care at Morning Star hostel in Hulme, supporting 20 single men with low support needs. You will welcome residents, maintain clean, safe, comfortable accommodation and assist with night-time operations.

The role involves monitoring safety, responding to incidents, signing visitors to support services, and handing over to day staff.

Qualificações

• Experience of working within a residential setting or similar and interaction with people that are homeless is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome residents in a friendly, professional manner and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Monitor CCTV and carry out health and safety checks.
• Log information for day staff and provide a detailed handover.
• Maintain building security and report incidents to on-call staff or emergency services.
• Signpost residents to support services and respond to first aid needs while following procedures.
