Job summary

Prime Life is seeking Night Support Workers for fixed-term contracts on a full- or part-time basis. The role is based at TheFieldings Residential Home in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, with night shifts from 8pm to 8am, seven days a week.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging residents to achieve the highest possible quality of life that is right for them
• Providing companionship whilst giving emotional and practical support
• Assisting residents to participate in decisions about their daily living arrangements
• Assisting residents with personal care and in undertaking recreational activities
• Assisting residents to retire for the evening and enjoy a comfortable night’s sleep
• Promoting resident independence in meal preparation and mealtimes
• Working with professionals to provide individualized care and development plans
