Job summary

Prime Life is seeking dedicated Night Support Workers for Firlands Nursing and Residential Home in the Braunstone area of Leicester. The role covers 8pm to 8am shifts across a 7-day week, offering a flexible, caring environment aimed at supporting residents with age-related and health needs.

Candidates with prior care experience are welcome, but full training is provided. Benefits include funded DBS, holiday pay, and a Refer a Friend scheme.

Qualifications

Prior experience as a Support Worker or Care Assistant is desirable, but training is provided.
Residents may have mental health conditions, learning disabilities and physical disabilities.
Candidate must be patient, understanding and respectful of residents’ abilities.

Responsibilities

Encouraging residents to achieve the highest possible quality of life that is right for them
Providing companionship whilst giving emotional and practical support
Assisting residents to participate in decisions relating to their daily living arrangements
Assisting residents with personal care and recreational activities
Helping residents retire for the evening and sleep peacefully
Promoting resident independence in meal preparation and at mealtimes
Working with other professionals to provide individualized care and development plans
