Job summary

Voyage Care in Tilehurst (Reading) is seeking genuinely caring, hands-on Support Workers to help residents gain more independence in a small team at Apple Blossom House.

You’ll assist with personal care, teach life skills and lead activities, in a friendly residential setting that supports up to six residents with complex needs. DBS checks and references apply; training and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or support roles preferred.
• Demonstrates empathy and patient-centred approach.
• Able to work as part of a small team in a residential setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and daily activities.
• Support independence, learning life skills and social engagement.
• Plan and participate in group activities and outings.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe, supportive environment.

Job description

Shift times: 9pm - 7:30am, 3 nights a week.

At Apple Blossom House we support up to six residents with complex needs.
