Job summary

Voyage Care's Musbury residential service seeks a Female Night Support Worker to help people gain independence and enjoy a safe, comfortable night routine within a welcoming setting.

You will work nights to support individuals, providing bedtime care, night checks and light domestic duties. A caring, flexible approach and UK driving licence are valued; DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• We value a caring, hands-on approach in a residential setting.
• Ideally hold a full UK driving licence.
• Experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
• Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including mental health conditions, autism and trauma.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bedtime routines and personal care during night shifts.
• Conduct regular checks throughout the night.
• Complete domestic duties in spare time.

Female Night Support Worker – Musbury - £13.56 ph base rate (up to £15.06 ph including enhancements)

Typical Shifts are: Monday - Sunday 20:30 - 08:00

As a Support Worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

Our residential service in Axminster is a traditional farmhouse, ten minutes away from the Jurassic coast. It has a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! As a Night Support Worker, you’ll be enhancing the lives of people we support by assisting with bedtime routines, including personal care and completing regular checks throughout the night. You will also be expected to complete domestic duties in any spare time.

We’re interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Support Workers should ideally hold a full UK driving license, be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour's of distress, mental health conditions, autism and people who have experienced trauma.
