Job summary

NL Group is seeking a Complex Care Support Worker for night shifts in Hornsea. You will provide 24-hour support to a young lady with profound learning disabilities, ensuring independence, dignity and well-being. Experience with epilepsy, PEG feeding, and moving and handling is essential.

You will work 27–36 hours per week, with Wednesday and Thursday night shifts and every other weekend required. A valid UK driving license and DBS clearance are preferred, and weekly pay with holiday pay is

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK driving license and have access to a vehicle.
• Previous experience as a Support Worker for at least 6 months.
• Experience in supporting complex needs is essential.
• Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care or Mental Health (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meals, and medication management.
• Build trusting relationships and provide emotional support.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor and document client progress and report concerns to senior staff or healthcare professionals.
• Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all clients.
