Job summary

Pulse Nursing at Home in St Helens is seeking a Healthcare Assistant Support Worker to provide compassionate care to a 15-year-old client with complex needs, including cerebral palsy and epilepsy. You will support daily activities, administer medications (training provided), and contribute to quality of life through social engagement.

Shifts are nights (8pm–8am) with occasional day shifts. Training, DBS checks, and ongoing professional development are provided. Right to work in the UK required.

Qualifications

• 6 months care experience within the last 2 years (UK based).
• Ability to administer medications with training provided.
• Willingness to work nights, evenings, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical and emotional support to service users.
• Administer medications and complete manual handling as required.
• Work with clinical interventions under training.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care.
• Promote independence, dignity, choice and inclusion.
• Build positive relationships with service users, families and colleagues.
