Job summary

Culina is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader in the Minworth area of Birmingham. You will lead a hands-on team of around 10, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality across operations, while supporting the Shift Manager and maintaining effective communication.

You will drive shift performance, mentor staff, and handle goods in/stock availability, with a focus on meeting customer requirements and audit standards. The role includes night shifts and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse experience in a fast-paced operation.
• Previous team leader or supervisory experience.
• Comfortable handling alcohol products in Beer, Wines and Spirits operations.
• Strong communication and information sharing abilities.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a busy operation.
• Proven ability to motivate teams to achieve targets and KPIs.
• Confident with IT systems and common software.
• Professional, approachable attitude when working with others.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of around 10 warehouse colleagues.
• Drive shift performance to meet productivity and KPI targets.
• Promote health, safety, hygiene, and compliance standards.
• Conduct quality and compliance checks per customer/audit standards.
• Deliver team briefings and maintain clear communication channels.
• Support goods in and warehouse operations for efficient stock handling.
• Coach and develop team members to maximise performance.
• Contribute to investigations and disciplinary/grievance processes as needed.
