Job summary

Culina Group is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to join our Birmingham operation in a fast-paced, modern warehouse environment. You will lead around 10 colleagues during 4-on, 4-off nights (6pm–6am) and support the Shift Manager in achieving KPI targets and service levels.

You will drive safety, quality and operational standards, coach team members, and ensure stock is received, stored and made available efficiently. This role offers permanent, full-time employment at Culina.

Qualifications

• Comfort handling alcohol products in Beer, Wines & Spirits operations.

Warehouse Team Leader | Permanent Full-Time Opportunities

Shift Pattern:

4 on 4 off shift working nights 6pm – 6am

Salary:

£31,574.10 per annum & £2000 per annum night shift allowance. Overtime is paid at 1.5x the hourly rate for all hours worked above your weekly contracted hours.

We are looking for a confident and hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to join our Minworth operation in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a fast-paced, modern warehouse environment where you will lead a team to help deliver excellent service for a range of key customers.

In this role, you will support the Shift Manager in leading, motivating and developing the team, while making sure productivity, quality, health and safety, and customer service standards are achieved every day. You will play a key part in keeping the operation running smoothly and ensuring all customer requirements are delivered to a high standard.

what you will be doing:

• Lead, organise and support a team of around 10warehouse colleagues across the operation
• Drive shift performance to ensure productivity, service and operational KPI targets are consistently achieved.
• Promote high standards of health, safety, hygiene and compliance, making sure all processes and records are completed accurately.
• Carry out quality and compliance checks to ensure the operation meets customer and audit standards.
• Deliver team briefings and clear communication so colleagues stay informed, engaged and focused on priorities.
• Support the smooth running of goods in and warehouse operations so stock is received, handled and made available efficiently.
• Coach, support and develop team members to maximise performance and encourage progression.
• Support people processes, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance matters, in line with company procedures.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

• Previous warehouse experience, ideally within a fast-paced operation
• Previous team leader or supervisory experience in a similar environment.
• Comfortable handling alcohol products within a Beer, Wines and Spirits operation.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to share information clearly and confidently.
• Able to prioritise workloads effectively and meet deadlines in a busy operational environment.
• A proven ability to motivate teams and help deliver or exceed targets and KPIs.
• Confident using IT systems and standard computer applications.
• Professional, approachable and supportive in the way you work with others.
