Job summary

InPost UK, based at Wednesbury, is seeking a Warehouse Sort Manager (AM) to lead the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, manage a dedicated team, and ensure targets are met with high-quality service. You’ll plan staff, supervise labelling and sortation, coach staff and contractors, and uphold health and safety standards while driving efficiency and strong customer-focused delivery.

The role operates Monday to Friday, 17:30–02:00, with a competitive pension, life insurance and Cycle2Work

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment.
• Proven success in motivating teams to achieve results.
• Experience driving and surpassing KPIs in operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate your team to meet productivity targets and deadlines.
• Assist in planning staff requirements, rota management and annual leave.
• Ensure labelling, sortation and warehouse productivity targets are met with quality standards.
• Provide hand-over reports to the oncoming Shift Manager for seamless operations.
• Induct new staff and provide ongoing training to staff and contractors.
• Ensure health and safety training is completed and a safe work environment is maintained.
