Whistl UK Ltd in Bristol is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team of warehouse operatives, coordinating activities to meet volume, quality and efficiency targets, and to help drive operational excellence.

You will oversee staff development, conduct inductions and training, report KPIs and health & safety metrics, and act as deputy to the Shift Manager. Night shift pattern: Sunday to Thursday, 21:30–06:00, 40 hours weekly with additional night-rate pay.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
• Proven leadership and development of a team in a warehouse/3PL environment.
• Excellent problem-solving ability and proactive approach to process improvements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook for recording and sharing operational information.
• Willingness to work across shifts and locations; FLT Licence or Health & Safety training may be required.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team of warehouse operatives and coordinate activities to meet volume, quality, and efficiency targets.
• Develop staff through induction, personal development, and performance improvement plans.
• Contribute to performance reporting, KPIs, absences, conduct, and health & safety; deputise for the Shift Manager when needed.
• Maintain a customer-focused, professional standard of service and keep internal/external stakeholders informed about operations.
• Oversee loading/unloading and contribute to SOP development in collaboration with depot management.
