Job summary

Alliance Automotive Logistics in Rotherham is seeking a First Line Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, drive performance, and lead a team of Supervisors. You will translate strategic goals into actionable plans, ensuring efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement across all distribution activities.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in warehouse/distribution management, and proficiency with WMS and MS Office.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years in warehouse/distribution management or team leadership.
Familiarity with automotive parts distribution or similar high-volume industry.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and MS Office.
In-depth knowledge of health and safety standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily warehouse operations including picking, packing, inventory control and despatch.
Track and report on operational KPIs such as pick accuracy, productivity and on-time despatch rates.
Review team performance with Supervisors and address underperformance.
Implement performance improvement initiatives aligned with company objectives.
Collaborate with Supervisors and Ops Manager to identify process improvements and cost reductions.
Drive Lean initiatives to eliminate waste and boost productivity.
