Job summary

Alliance Automotive Group in Rotherham is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee warehouse operations, reporting to the Senior Operations Manager. You will lead First Line Managers, drive continuous improvement, and ensure health and safety compliance while delivering operational excellence.

The role focuses on managing picking, packing, despatch, and overall warehouse performance to meet targets and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a warehouse or logistics environment with at least three years in a management role.
• Certifications in Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies are advantageous.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing and despatch.
• Develop and implement operational plans to meet targets and maximise productivity.
• Monitor KPIs such as pick accuracy, on-time despatch and inventory accuracy.
• Lead First Line Managers and conduct performance reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain up-to-date SOPs.
• Ensure health, safety and regulatory compliance across operations.
