Job summary

Alliance Automotive Group is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee all warehouse functions in Rotherham, driving operational excellence and ensuring alignment with company objectives.

The role reports to the Senior Operations Manager and requires leadership of First Line Managers, with emphasis on lean processes, HSE compliance, and performance improvement across picking, packing, despatch, and inventory controls.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse/logistics management.
• Lean Six Sigma certification advantageous.
• Qualifications in Logistics/Supply Chain preferred.
• Strong data-driven decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Lead First Line Managers; conduct performance reviews and development plans.
• Monitor KPIs such as pick accuracy, on-time despatch and inventory accuracy.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives; ensure SOPs are up-to-date.
