Job summary

Chiltern is seeking a Night Shift Manager to oversee and support night-time production and warehouse operations. The role involves hands-on leadership of a small team, ensuring targets and quality are met while growing the night shift as the business expands.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience within production, manufacturing, warehousing, or logistics environments.
• Strong hands-on operational background with ability to support day-to-day shop-floor activities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee night-shift production and warehouse operations to meet targets, deadlines and quality standards.
• Lead and support night-shift team; monitor attendance, performance and timekeeping.
• Provide coaching, onboarding support and assist with recruitment and team development as the operation grows.
• Complete operational paperwork, stock updates and shift handovers accurately; resolve issues independently.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and enforce health & safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Conduct basic equipment checks and report faults or maintenance issues promptly.
