Job summary

Planet Recruitment is seeking a Night Shift Warehouse Manager in Kidlington to lead a busy night shift within a multi-temperature warehouse. You will oversee all activities to ensure on-time deliveries, including picking, loading and dispatch across ambient, chilled and frozen areas.

The role requires three years' management experience in warehousing, strong leadership, and the ability to coach and develop teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' management experience within warehousing, logistics or distribution.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of approximately 30 warehouse operatives and supervisors.
• Plan and coordinate all night shift activities to ensure targets are met.
• Conduct daily shift briefings covering safety, workload and priorities.
• Oversee picking, replenishment, loading and dispatch across ambient, chilled and frozen environments.
• Ensure up to 30 delivery vehicles are loaded accurately and on schedule each night.
• Monitor staffing levels and labour requirements to meet business demands.
• Carry out performance reviews and staff development.
• Drive continuous improvement to boost productivity and service levels.
• Maintain Health & Safety, Food Safety and HACCP compliance.
