Ideal candidates will have warehouse leadership experience in a logistics or chilled environment, solid WMS familiarity, and the ability to drive efficiency in a fast-paced setting while emphasising safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience as Warehouse Manager or Supervisor in logistics, distribution, or chilled warehouse environment.
• Strong leadership and people management experience.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong health & safety knowledge and operational compliance.
• Able to work confidently in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop the night warehouse team.
• Manage the day-to-day operation of a busy chilled distribution warehouse.
• Monitor productivity, KPIs, and warehouse performance.
• Maintain compliance with health & safety and company procedures.
• Work with the transport team to ensure smooth overnight operations.

Salary: GBP36,000 - GBP40,000 DOE

Hours: Monday to Friday 20:00 - 04:00

Our client, a well-established logistics company based in Washington, is looking to recruit an experienced Night Shift Warehouse Manager to oversee the efficient running of their chilled distribution operation.

The Role

As the Night Shift Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for leading the night warehouse team, ensuring all chilled products are received, stored, picked, and dispatched safely, accurately, and on time. You'll drive operational performance while maintaining high standards of health & safety and compliance.
