Job summary

Johnson Matthey Plc is seeking a Warehouse Shift Lead to supervise a shift team responsible for receipt, storage and dispatch of goods across sites. You will ensure safe operations, training, and adherence to JM procedures and 5S standards.

The role supports hybrid working with a focus on continuous improvement and customer service excellence. The position requires supervisory experience, familiarity with inventory control, and the ability to manage personnel processes in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience required or preferred.
• Experience with inventory control and warehouse procedures.
• Experience in a manufacturing/industrial warehouse environment desirable.
• Experience with automated inventory control is a plus.
• Experience with issuing goods and Bills of Materials is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift team to ensure safe and secure warehouse activities.
• Oversee training of new workers on site procedures and standards.
• Organize warehouse security and stock handling.
• Maintain stock accuracy and coordinate stock takes.
• Manage staff processes: absence, performance, overtime, holidays.
