Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is recruiting a Transport Administrator for the Iceland Distribution Centre in Warrington (WA5 3PW). The role is full-time and permanent, operating on a 4 on 4 off night shift from 06:00 to 18:00 to keep vehicles moving and customers satisfied across the UK.

You will dispatch drivers, handle transport paperwork, maintain records and support an efficient transport operation while delivering excellent service in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills to prioritise workloads effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transport paperwork.
• Customer-focused approach with ability to resolve queries quickly.
• Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch drivers and support the successful delivery of the daily transport plan.
• Conduct driver debriefs and ensure all transport paperwork is completed accurately.
• Manage transport administration and maintain up-to-date operational records.
• Monitor and update transport systems, including driver and vehicle information.
• Build strong working relationships with drivers, colleagues and customers.
• Resolve customer queries and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
