Job summary

Bell Recruitment is seeking a motivated Trainee Baker in the Craigavon area. This hands-on training role starts at 9pm, six nights a week, with a 48-hour schedule. Net pay is reviewed after 6 months as skills develop. No bakery experience required; you will learn from experienced bakers and progress toward running batches under supervision.

The position emphasizes reliability, willingness to learn, and strong teamwork. Night work is a core part of the role, with a clear upfront expectation.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual, and realistic about night work
• Willing to learn and take direction
• Good attention to detail and pride in doing things properly
• Able to work as part of a small team
• Physically fit for lifting, standing and repetitive work
• Right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Weigh and scale ingredients accurately to recipe
• Assist the bakers through mixing, fermentation, shaping and baking
• Prepare tins, trays, couches and bannetons
• Cool, pack and label finished product for dispatch
• Keep the bakery clean and organised — washing down, sweeping, equipment cleaning
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures
• Complete basic production paperwork
