Chevron Traffic Management is hiring for Night Shift Traffic Management Operatives in Thatcham. Positions range from Trainees to IPV qualified Foremen, with a welcoming bonus and clear progression via our internal academy. Flexible night shifts with weekend work as required.

Qualifications
- Must hold 12b LTMO or 12a Foreman qualification and IPV qualification.
- Full driving licence with up to 6 points; bans must have expired at least 5 years ago.
- Must pass drug and alcohol test (offer contingent on results).
- HGV licence is required.
- Positive, can-do attitude and meticulous attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and remove traffic management equipment (cones, signs, barriers, lights).
- Drive and operate IPV vehicles where qualified.
- Lead or support a crew to deliver work safely and efficiently.
- Set up and manage lane closures, road closures, and diversions.
- Carry out site checks in line with Chapter 8 regulations.
- Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Complete traffic counts, reports and near-miss documentation.
- Ensure health and safety standards at all times.
- Mentor trainees and new team members.
- Assist supervisors and managers to ensure timely project delivery.

Whether you join us as an Operative, Foreman, or IPV Foreman/Operative, you’ll play a key role in keeping roads safe and projects running smoothly.

- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards at all times
- Supporting and mentoring trainees and new team members
- Assisting supervisors and managers to ensure projects are delivered on time
Trainee? No problem! We will provide the training and support you will need to get you qualified.
- Qualifications: 12b LTMO or 12a Traffic Management Foreman qualification and IPV qualification
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Chapter 8 regulations
- Driving Licence: Full licence with no more than 6 points. Any driving bans must have expired at least 5 years ago, plus an HGV licence
- Testing: Must pass a drug and alcohol test (offer contingent on results)
