Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Team Manager to lead in-store operations, delivering exceptional customer experiences while developing a capable, high-performing team. You will coach colleagues on product knowledge, drive sales with smart trade activity, and implement store change plans to optimise resources for customer benefit.

You will prioritise safety, ensure legal trading, and stay curious to serve customers, communities, and the planet better every day in a dynamic retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store.
• Recruit, train and develop colleagues to build a capable, high-performing team.
• Coach the team to be knowledgeable about products, ensuring great range, quality and service for customers.
• Lead trade activity, using insight to grow sales and maximise profit.
• Develop knowledge to deliver the Store Change Plan, using resources where customers benefit most.
• Identify and resolve root-causes with sustainable, long-term solutions.
• Prioritise colleague safety and ensure store trades legally by coaching use of safety tools.
