Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is seeking a Night Shift Supervisor to lead depot operations during 12-hour night shifts (6pm–6am) on a 4 on / 4 off pattern. You will oversee daily tasks, ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures, and drive high service levels for customers and the business.

You will coordinate quality maintenance, supervise loading/unloading, and work across depot departments while promoting a safe and efficient working environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures.
• Experience managing changing workload priorities and deadlines.
• Experience dealing with customers.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete depot tasks efficiently within strict timeframes and ensure quality maintenance of all products.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures at all times.
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment and high standards of house-keeping and PPE usage.
• Identify damage to products and follow damage procedures while maintaining service standards.
• Manage loading and unloading of vehicles to be on time in full and within depot processes.
• Be flexible to work across all depot departments as required by the business.

Job description

The shift pattern for this role will be 4 on 4 off working 12 hour nights 6pm to 6am.

As a Night Shift Supervisor you will complete day-to-day tasks within the depot ensuring full compliance with all Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures. Tasks will be completed efficiently and to a high standard, ensuring the depot provides a first class service to customers and business alike.

Key Areas Of Responsibility

• Completing depot requirements by organising and completing quality maintenance of all products
• Responsible for completing depot tasks within strict timeframes
• Developing a safe working environment by adhering to all necessary health and safety requirements and legislation
• Promoting, monitoring and maintaining health, safety and security of the work areas
• Monitoring of plant, equipment and tools
• Compliance with method of work
• Ability to identify damage to products and understand damage procedures
• Promoting company image/brand including wearing appropriate P.P.E.
• Identifying areas of the business where improvements can be made
• Completion of all daily paperwork
• Able to manage the loading and unloading of vehicles on time in full
• Must be flexible and willing to work within all depot departments
• Continuous drive and determination to deliver the highest standards possible

To be successful in this role, it is essential you have:

It would be highly desirable if you hold the below qualifications:

• Clean driving licence
• First Aid qualification
