Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd is seeking a Twilight Manager to lead the twilight shift, ensuring top shop-floor standards and best product availability across all departments. You will join the leadership team, managing a 45-hour week on a rolling rota that includes nights and weekends, while keeping safety and legal compliance front and center.

The role requires strong customer service, team development, and hands-on decision-making to drive continuous improvement across the store.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or managing teams in a retail grocery environment.
• Ability to make decisions independently with a hands-on attitude and a drive to improve processes and people.
• Confidence in developing teams and managing change.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Flexibility to work a range of twilight shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the twilight shift transitioning from day to night.
• Ensure best availability and shop floor standards across departments.
• Ensure store remains safe and legal for customers and colleagues.
• Work with leadership on a rolling rota and 5 shifts over 7, including weekends.
• Hand over to night team with a smooth transition.
