Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in Witney, UK, is seeking a Shift Lead for our Sensor Manufacturing team. You will develop, lead and motivate your team, drive quality, yield and output, and champion EHS initiatives on a 4-on/4-off night shift from 7pm to 7am.

You will own your area, report metrics, escalate issues, and coordinate with quality, engineering and other support functions. The role rewards proactive leadership, strong communication and organisational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a lab or manufacturing setting preferred.
• Strong communication, organisation and time management are essential.
• Familiarity with GMP/GLP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the Shift team to ensure quality, yield and output.
• Own daily shift operations and participate in meetings, reporting metrics.
• Escalate issues and coordinate between quality, engineering and support functions.
• Conduct daily walk-rounds and support continuous improvements.
