Job summary

Abbott in Witney is seeking a STARS Senior Technician to lead our Product Test team, ensuring quality, yield and on-time delivery of sensor testing for our glucose monitoring systems. You will guide, mentor and coordinate across quality and engineering functions within a fast-paced environment.

You will conduct sensor testing, oversee batch reviews, and manage test scheduling while maintaining awareness of GLP/GMP standards and daily laboratory activities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams and delivering results.
• Experience in a laboratory environment with GLP and GMP.
• Able to work night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) and 4-on/4-off pattern.
• Proactive communicator with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Product Test team to ensure quality, yield and output deliverables.
• Own area, report metrics, escalate issues, coordinate between teams.
• Support daily walk-around activities with quality and engineering functions.
• Perform sensor testing and batch review to support product release.
• Monitor daily lab activities and stay aware of new products and processes.
