Job summary

IPL Schoeller Wolverhampton site is seeking a experienced Shift Team Leader to manage a four-on, four-off production shift (two days, two nights). You will lead the shift team, ensure health and safety standards, and drive continuous improvement while delivering production targets.

The role requires strong people management, planning, and liaison with support functions to ensure on-time delivery and quality compliance on every shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading a manufacturing team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to maintain safe and efficient shift operations.
• Schedule and allocate labour to meet the production plan and optimize machine uptime.
• Oversee team performance, conduct appraisals, and address attendance and welfare on shift.
• Coordinate with maintenance and support functions to resolve production issues quickly.
