Job summary

HC-One is seeking a part-time Senior Care Assistant to join our night shift team at Yew Trees. You will lead a small team, plan and deliver person-centred care, support residents with dementia, and collaborate with nurses to ensure safe, dignified care across our dementia, nursing, residential and specialist services.

You will maintain accurate records, administer medications as required, and help residents stay engaged through social and recreational activities.

Qualifications

• Requires Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Social Care.
• Prepared to work towards Level 3 qualification in Adult Social Care or equivalent.
• Background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain high standards of care.
• Maintain accurate records of the care provided and build strong team relationships.
• Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager and administer medications as required.
• Provide physical and mental stimulation through activities and ensure personalised care.
