Job summary

HC-One is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for night shifts on a 3 on 3 off rotation. You will lead a team, deliver personalised care, and support residents with dementia across care homes, ensuring safety and dignity at all times.

You will work with Registered Nurses and Care Managers, maintain records, and promote mental and physical stimulation through activities, while upholding HC-One's standards.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Social Care required or working toward Level 3
• Background in person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia
• Prepared to work towards Level 3 qualification and maintain high care standards

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain the highest standards of care
• Keep accurate records of the care provided and communicate with residents’ families
• Administer medication under supervision of Registered Nurse/Care Manager
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to support wellbeing

Education

Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Social Care

Level 3 qualification in Adult Social Care or equivalent
