Job summary

Ideal candidates will have NVQ 3 (or equivalent), 2 years’ experience in care homes, strong communication skills, and a flexible, proactive approach to duties and night coverage.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• 2 years’ experience in similar care environment.
• Effective communication verbally and in writing.
• Positive attitude toward residents and staff.
• Responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents’ wellbeing and update care plans.
• Contribute to person-centred care planning and monthly evaluations.
• Support residents with medication requirements.
• Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development.
• Act as key contact for residents, families and health professionals; escalate concerns as needed.
