Printed.com is a leading UK online print shop seeking a motivated Saddle Stitch Operative to join our finishing team in Cramlington. You will work in a fast-paced production space and contribute to delivering high-quality finished products.

Responsibilities include operating saddle stitch equipment, interpreting job specs, and collaborating with production colleagues to meet tight standards. Occasional weekends or overtime may be required, with a strong emphasis on safety and ISO 9001 compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Print Finishing Operative or similar role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering finished products of the highest quality.
• Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work occasional weekends or overtime as needed.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift 20 kg.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain saddle stitch cutting equipment (Duplo I saddle 6000, Horizon).
• Interpret job specifications and optimise layouts for efficiency.
• Collaborate with production teams to meet project requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues in cutting processes and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance to keep equipment in good condition.
• Adhere to ISO 9001QMS and health and safety rules.
