Printed.com is seeking a motivated Finishing Operative to join our fast-paced manufacturing team in the UK. You will perform finishing processes such as cutting, binding, laminating and folding, ensuring high-quality finished products for our customers.

We offer middle shift (2pm–10pm) and night shift (10pm–6am) with starting wages £25k–£27k depending on experience. Open day invitations may be part of our shortlisting process. Join us to help drive production excellence at Printed.

Responsibilities

• Execute finishing processes such as cutting, binding, laminating, and folding to complete printed products.
• Conduct thorough quality checks on finished products to meet high standards.
• Operate and maintain finishing equipment, troubleshoot issues and perform routine maintenance.
• Manage workflow to meet production schedules and ensure timely delivery of finished products.
• Handle and organize printed materials, preparing them for finishing processes.
• Set up saddle stitch machines according to job specifications and adjust settings as needed.
• Load paper and materials into machines ensuring proper alignment and registration.
• Monitor machine operations during production to maintain quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment jams or misfeeds during runs.
• Coordinate with team leaders to prioritise jobs and meet deadlines.
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean, organized work area.
