Printed.com is seeking a committed print finishing operative to join our fast-growing UK team. You will perform finishing steps such as cutting, binding, laminating and folding to produce high-quality printed materials.

The role includes setting up saddle stitch machines, loading materials, and ensuring precise alignment and timely production. We operate across daytime and night shifts; preference for candidates with manufacturing experience and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Execute finishing processes such as cutting, binding, laminating, and folding to complete printed product.
• Conduct thorough quality checks on finished products to ensure high standards.
• Operate and maintain finishing equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance.
• Manage workflow to meet production schedules and timely delivery of finished products.
• Set up saddle stitch machines according to job specs including paper size and trim sizes.
• Load paper and materials, ensuring alignment and registration.
• Monitor machine operations to maintain quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment such as jams or misfeeds.
• Coordinate with team leaders to prioritise jobs and meet deadlines.
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean, organized workspace.
