Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Residential Senior Carer to lead a care team and deliver person-centred support in a residential setting. You will train staff, supervise shifts and delegate duties while ensuring safe medication administration and up-to-date care plans for residents.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care, previous residential care experience, and a compassionate approach to each resident's dignity and preferences.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care required.
• Previous residential care experience and proven leadership skills.
• Warm-hearted, compassionate and dedicated to personalised resident care.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of care staff with training, supervisions and shift delegation.
• Administer and order medication and review resident care plans.
• Liaise with GPs, district nursing teams and families to support wellbeing.
