Arriva TrainCare is seeking a hands-on Service Assistant for the Scarborough Light Maintenance Depot. You will be responsible for overnight servicing, including fueling traction units, water and oil replenishments, and train presentation to ensure customer fleets are safe and ready for service each day.

The role requires safety-first mindset, reliable teamwork, and the ability to follow instructions with basic IT literacy. Training will cover safety, COSHH, and depot procedures.

Qualificações

• Good standard of education.
• Basic IT literacy.
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards.

Responsabilidades

• Operate the fuel point and CET plant safely and efficiently.
• Conduct nightly train presentation of customer units.
• Service trains overnight including fuelling traction units, filling water tanks, replenishing oils and coolants, sanding systems and screenwash.
• Support other on-train system top-ups and depot operations.
• Complete paperwork accurately and maintain housekeeping standards.
