Job summary

Pertemps Black Country Perms is seeking a experienced Night Shift Production Team Leader for a glass manufacturer in the Dudley area. You will lead the night shift, ensure production schedules and customer requirements are met, and drive safety, quality, and efficiency across the team.

The role requires previous Team Leader or Supervisor experience in glass production, with a strong focus on KPIs, quality standards, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous Team Leader, Shift Leader, or Production Supervisor experience within glass manufacturing.
• Experience working to production KPIs and quality standards.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• IOSH or similar qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the night shift production team
• Ensure production schedules and customer requirements are achieved
• Drive productivity, quality, and waste reduction targets
• Maintain a strong health & safety culture across the shift
• Support employee development, training, and performance management
• Liaise with Maintenance and senior management to minimise downtime
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Produce shift reports and communicate key operational updates
