Pertemps Black Country Perms in Dudley is seeking an experienced Production Team Leader for the night shift. You will lead and develop a production team, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety targets are met while driving continuous improvement across the operation.

The role offers a £35,000 - £40,000 DOE salary, a performance bonus, pension, life assurance and healthcare benefits. Previous manufacturing leadership, strong communication and a solid health & safety focus are essential.

Production Team Leader (Nights)

Dudley | £35,000 - £40,000 DOE + Bonus + Benefits | 22:00 - 06:00, Sunday to Thursday

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Team Leader to join a well-established and highly respected glass manufacturing company on a permanent night shift.

You will be responsible for leading and developing a production team, ensuring targets for productivity, quality, and safety are achieved while driving continuous improvement across the operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a production team
• Drive performance against productivity, quality, and waste KPIs
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and company procedures
• Work closely with maintenance and management teams to support operational performance
• Manage team performance, training, and HR-related processesIdentify and implement continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Previous team leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of production operations and performance management
• Experience driving continuous improvement activities
• Excellent communication and people management skills
• Strong focus on health & safety and quality standards
• IOSH or similar qualification desirable
