Job summary

Pertemps Bristol Industrial is looking for a Glass Operative to join a well‑established glass manufacturer in the Bristol area. You will operate glass processing machinery, cut and prepare glass to specification, and ensure products meet quality standards before dispatch.

This full‑time, permanent role offers a 40‑hour week with overtime potential and opportunities for training and development within a busy production environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification advantageous but not essential.
• Previous experience operating CNC machinery advantageous but not essential.
• Relevant manufacturing or production qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate glass processing machinery and cut glass to specification.
• Read patterns, drawings, and specifications to mark and prepare glass.
• Inspect glass and ensure quality before dispatch.
• Load/unload stillages and monitor stock levels.
