Job summary

April Quest in Havant, Hampshire is seeking a Production Supervisor for the permanent night shift to lead a small to mid-sized team and keep manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently. You will be responsible for the performance of the shift, ensuring targets are met without compromising safety, quality or delivery, and coaching colleagues to improve during the night.

Experience leading night-shift teams in manufacturing, knowledge of health and safety, quality and delivery

Qualifications

• Experience as a Production Supervisor on night shifts.
• Experience leading a small to mid-sized team in manufacturing.
• Practical understanding of production, health and safety, quality and delivery requirements.
• Ability to manage people, priorities and issues during the night shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small to mid-sized production team.
• Ensure the production plan is completed safely and to quality standards.
• Monitor performance against production targets and KPIs.
• Manage staffing levels, priorities and day-to-day issues across the shift.
• Maintain high health and safety standards across the area.
• Address production or quality issues and escalate as needed.
• Ensure clear communication and handovers between shifts.
• Coach team members and hold people accountable for performance.
• Support continuous improvements across safety, quality, delivery and cost.
