To oversee the night shift operations within the warehouse, managing staff and site facilitation requirements during the shift. Responsibilities include raising queries to the site Operations Manager as needed, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently to deliver goods to customers promptly and in excellent condition.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage all warehouse staff during the shift.
- Oversee IT system requirements for BIS Track and WMS processing.
- Ensure Supervisors/Staff correctly carry out all orders and picks.
- Oversee vehicle load planning and execution.
- Update stock inventory after receipt/dispatch.
- Receive stock from national vehicle processes, check for damages.
- Ensure daily defect reporting by shift staff.
- Carry out two-point check processes.
- Supervise order checking and label stock before loading or storage.
- Plan, prepare, and verify secure vehicle loading according to the manifest.
- Ensure all Forklifts (FLTs) are filled and operational at shift end.
- Manage stock picking, ensuring accuracy and undamaged items.
- Handle stock with care.
- Complete Timber checks and record results.
- Perform general warehouse duties including housekeeping, Legionella checks, site security, fire duties, and First Aid if qualified.
- Assist Operations Manager in stock take preparations.
- Open, close, and secure the building at weekly shift start/end.
- Operate FLT and HGV fleet following company guidance, including pre-use checks and hazard reporting.
- Support people management activities: managing night shift team, resolving onsite issues, managing performance, investigations, disciplinaries, and absence management.
- Assist in team development through goal setting, training, and appraisals.
- Provide a safe working environment following Health and Safety procedures, reporting hazards, injuries, equipment faults, and incidents promptly.
- Ensure proper use of racking and equipment, rectify hazards where safe to do so.
- Follow safe working procedures and company policies.

Minimum Experience required:
Experience of working in a similar role for 3 years.
Minimum Education Requirements:
Numeracy & Literacy skills.
