Job summary

A leading global medical technology company in Swindon is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to provide mechanical and electrical support on advanced assembly lines. This role involves working with complex machinery in a cleanroom environment. Key responsibilities include fault repairs, technical support, and preventative maintenance. Candidates should hold a relevant qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering and possess experience with PLCs, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and robotics. This position offers a continuous night shift with generous allowances.

Qualifications

• Qualified to 17th Edition level or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of fault finding and repair in electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience working in cleanrooms and with GMP standards.

Responsibilities

• Repairing faults as the first port of call for machine breakdowns.
• Providing technical support to achieve production output standards.
• Planning and executing pro-active preventative maintenance programs.
