Grainger & Worrall is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer for the night shift (16:00-02:00) at Bridgnorth. You’ll maintain and improve a wide range of equipment in a highly automated foundry and machining environment, from robotics to CNC machinery, with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement.

The role offers long-term stability, a fixed night pattern, and opportunities to develop technical expertise across diverse plant assets while contributing to safety and performance goals.

Competenze

• Engineering qualification or significant relevant maintenance experience.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Multi-skilled maintenance with electrical and mechanical fault-finding.
• Knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment, automation or robotics.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.
• Commitment to safe working practices and continuous improvement.

Mansioni

• Reactive maintenance activities to restore equipment safely and efficiently.
• Planned preventative maintenance in line with site schedules.
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults across production equipment.
• Supporting reliability of automation, robotics and manufacturing systems.
• Updating maintenance records and managing work orders through the CMMS.
• Contributing to continuous improvement activities that enhance equipment performance.
• Collaborating with production and engineering teams to minimise operational disruption.
