RGB Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a hands-on role in the North Bristol area. You will keep plant and equipment operating safely and reliably, performing planned maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and ensuring first-time fixes where possible.

The role requires comfort with rotating shifts including nights. You’ll work on site sortation systems, conveyors, and related plant equipment, with opportunities to develop your technical skills across a broad range of systems.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering background with electrical and mechanical proficiency.
• Experience in fault-finding on industrial equipment and control panels.
• Comfortable working in a busy operational site with rotating shifts.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on sortation systems, conveyors and plant equipment.
• Diagnose and fix electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Carry out breakdown repairs safely and within agreed timescales.
• Document work clearly in CMMS and maintain accurate records.
• Support continuous improvement across site maintenance activities.
