Job summary
Grainger & Worrall is seeking a Maintenance Team Lead for the night shift (16:00–2:00). The role combines hands-on maintenance with team leadership to improve equipment reliability in a highly automated manufacturing environment.
You will collaborate with production and engineering to maximise availability, drive continuous improvement, and support site investment projects while maintaining a strong safety culture.
Qualifications
- Recognised engineering qualification or significant maintenance experience.
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Multi-skilled maintenance covering mechanical and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment and automation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support a team of maintenance engineers for safe, effective work.
- Plan and prioritise reactive, preventative and predictive maintenance.
- Improve plant availability and equipment reliability.
- Manage maintenance records, work orders and assets in the CMMS.
- Coach team members and develop technical capability.
- Assist contractor management, installations and projects.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities to reduce downtime.
