Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Engineer for a large-scale automated manufacturing facility in Basildon. You will join a small night team delivering planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across complex production lines to maximise reliability and OEE.

The role offers a £52,634 salary, nights (10pm–6am, Mon–Fri with flexibility), and opportunities for overtime, training, and progression in a COMAH-regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with PM/PPM systems and continuous improvement.
• Understanding of Health & Safety regulations within manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across complex production lines.
• Maximise equipment reliability and reduce downtime to improve OEE.
• Work as part of a night engineering team in a COMAH-regulated environment.
