Bethesda Southgate is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time night shift (10:45pm - 7:15am). The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care, assessing residents, and collaborating with the care team to maintain high-quality resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Qualified as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current LPN license in the state of employment.
• CPR and AED certification required, or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• IV certification required, or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provides basic nursing care by assessing residents on admission and ongoing basis.
• Documents all assessments accurately and timely.
• Communicates significant changes to the interdisciplinary team (IDT) and residents/families.
• Updates the care plan and implements appropriate nursing interventions.
• Administers medications and treatments safely and as ordered; handles IV if certified.
• Maintains SBARR communication with physicians and responds calmly during crises.
