Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Night Shift Lead to guide our store team and ensure outstanding customer service during late hours. You’ll manage daily operations, coordinate cross-functional tasks, and support colleagues to deliver a smooth in-store experience.

The role requires prior team leadership in retail, a passion for service, clear communication, and the ability to adapt to changing situations. Night shifts come with a premium and a minimum guaranteed hours per week. 18+ eligibility applies.

• Experience in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong role model with a passion for delivering great service and ensuring customer needs are met.
• Ability to build positive, inclusive relationships to support the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to deliver a great in-store experience for customers.
• Coordinate across store areas and colleagues, acting as the go-to for daily queries.

• Confidently lead the store in the Manager’s absence.
• Make balanced, flexible decisions and adapt to change.
• Coach colleagues, give feedback and role-model great service.
